THE DEVIL HUNTER
In the North of Portugal, there is a priest who treats people
possessed by the devil. He calls himself an exorcist or a
Devil Hunter. By filming his daily work of seeing and treating
patients, we aim to understand what comfort those who seek
his help hope to find. How does he satisfy them? Can he cure
them?
These are just some of the questions raised by this local,
yet universal portrait of an exorcist and the community he
serves. |
